11 Years on

Since I posted "Till Death us do part" on 4th January 2006 it is now 11 years since my soul mate passed away just after christmas 2001. People still wish me a happy christmas but for me it is not, the grief would get easier they said, but it doesn't. As we finished the 2000 christmas lunch that I had cooked she said to me, I think that is the last christmas I shall see, I didn't want to believe that, she had been very poorly for months and five weeks later her words rung true, I was devastated, no-one will ever take her place and I treasure the 53 years that we spent together.
